Since childhood, Liriana has always been fascinated by human touch and natural treatments. Over time and through her personal experiences, she has come to realize that before taking care of others, it is essential to take time and care for oneself. Through her practice, Liriana discovered her IKIGAI—the Japanese concept of finding one’s personal reason for being—which has driven her to deepen her expertise and share these ancient practices with others. One of her favorite quotes is: "A wellness masseuse truly listens with their hands and with their heart.

With a PhD in Marine Biology, Marina Ichikawa completed her scientific work in Japan. The integration of East Asian philosophy into Marina Ichikawa’s life, along with her humanitarian work in Siberia and West Africa, led her to the field of holistic healing. Marina is a trained Zen and Five Element Shiatsu Practitioner (Bristol School of Shiatsu) with ongoing training in Quantum Shiatsu. Her calligraphy art, as well as her shiatsu practice, are inspired by the Japanese concepts of ICHIGO ICHIE (presence), IKIGAI (sense of life), SHOSHIN (beginner’s mind), and MONO NO AWARE (beauty in impermanence and transience, cherishing each moment).
Marina

Fascinated by the traditional arts of Japan from a young age, I have always loved the idea that simplicity, respect and the search for harmony transform any discipline into a way that reveals the essence of things. It is in this state of mind that today I practice the art of massage and tea ceremonies, as a sharing to reveal the beauty of the present moment, a moment of ICHIGO ICHIE.
